AI Advisory Group to Elevate AI Education throughout AI in Healthcare Event Series

HIMSS has formed a small, invitation-only group of industry leaders to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence to improve patient care, patient safety, outcomes and healthcare operations. 

The HIMSS Events: AI Advisory Group is responsible for advising on the AI in Healthcare Event Series, which is comprised of three events over the course of 2025: the AI in Healthcare Forum, the AI Leadership Strategy Summit, and the Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum.

The HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum, taking place July 10-11 in Brooklyn, New York, cuts through the hype to showcase real-world examples illustrating the transformative potential, and realistic challenges of AI application across the care continuum. 

From Sept. 18-19 in Chicago, the two-day AI Leadership Strategy Summit is designed to empower leaders to maximize the value of their AI investments and drive change across their organizations. 

The HIMSS 2025 Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum from Oct. 9-10 in Houston, Texas, will equip executives and cybersecurity professionals with insights into the key issues at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. 

Together, the AI Advisory Group's mission is to help elevate and advance education in AI across healthcare. Group members will shape event content, recruit speakers and develop their own presentations for the HIMSS AI series events.
